Hartlepool United

The Mail ban is no loss. The paper only comes out on a Thursday now so weekend match reports are several days old when you read them.

The Hartlepool Life newspaper does reports anyway.
No loss to have a dedicated sports reporter able to cover every game, home and away ensuring the side actually get some coverage other than a community paper? . Would say that’s a bit of a loss myself. Also to allow the chairman to essentially sensor the news because he doesn’t like the fact theyre s**** is ridiculous. Would have thought running the club correctly, appointing good staff and signing good players would be a better form of attack than banning people from saying they’ve not been great.

Like their new away strip. In fact grandson gets their kits and they are much better finished than ours.

Very smart but blue and white home, and two shades of blue away they will have trouble v chesterfield, Halifax Oldham Southend etc ?

Yeh they did, my lad has trawled the country reporting on their matches over the last 2 years or so & couldve gone to town on some of the performances to fair, this is all about one man.
You mean streams the game at home and reports on it.

Unless your saying all expenses paid trips away what a job huh.

He was at every away game last season on the long trips he went on the Friday stayed over, did the game & drove home. Not once did he stream an away game.

537 hardy souls made the trip to ruddy Barnet.....537 more than I expected after last year's debacle....

Keep the faith Poolies,,.....Season is a Marathon not a Sprint and full of dips and highs (hopefully)!!!

Pools over last couple years have shown resilience and become adept at coming from behind and scoring late goals ( at home anyway ). Possibly have a couple of the best half dozen strikers in the National League, so that should give them a fighting chance of finishing in the play offs. However I feel the lack of a couple of genuine warrior type players in their midfield and defence, will see them struggling away from home. They clearly prefer playing at home, where the backing of 4000+ fans at that level, gives them and advantage over opponents used to playing in front of a 1000 fans.

Their big gangly attacker, Emmanuel Dieseruvwe, (No 20) who I was very impressed with, when he played against us in a recent pre season game, scored both goals against Gateshead, yesterday.
With him up front, causing all sorts of problems for opposition defences, and Anthony Mancini, (No 8) creating & pulling the strings in midfield, Pools will hopefully do well this season.

Cracking result with 10 men as well.
Hope they come back up.
