The Spirit Of 37 - Upcoming displays

Oh, i am sure plenty will continue to do just that, certainly those who have, lets call them... "interests in keeping the club on side".
And isn't that half the problem, everyone knows we are a captive audience, so they get away with lots other businesses wouldn't.

Then you have certain groups who are more interested in boasting the have meetings with the club than actually doing anything meaningful

Well not RAWA of course, because they have been doing a wonderful job since the start, i wouldn't of joined there ranks otherwise, right from the first public meeting, but maybe others..

At least RAWA are active and pushing for things with surveys etc.

Some of the others enjoy biscuits from the club lore than Mowbray does

The bring the noise tweet the club have put out tonight has rather a lot of flags in it.

Yet here we are where the club are actively stopping and now ignoring the very flags they use in their promos.

I should be shocked, but it appears more and more that the powers that be don't give a flying fuck.

If SD and CM had behaved like this there would be riots
SMB shout spam all SAFC posts, every one with "Steve Neil get out of our club".
Every single time the post owt it, hundreds of replies saying the same thing.

Well done lads. Must be a difficult decision to make, but the club have made it for you in my eyes.

The simple fact that much larger displays are pushed and encouraged up the road every week just shows there has to be a vendetta against us by 1 or 2 from within the club.

Such a shame it has come to this, with god knows how many hours put in as volunteers, and thousands of pounds donated by supporters. Days like tomorrow need the ground to be jumping to get us 3 points and off the mark.

The club may as well have stuck a banner out saying sit down, shut up and go home.

I’m not adding anything that hasn’t already been said by the majority but it’s a serious worry how bad the club is doing off the field.

Steve davison and this Steve neil bloke are being hung out to dry by the club.

Davison is so far out of his depth it’s beyond a joke.

If this display nonsense is down to Steve neil only he should be sacked in the morning !!
U only have to look at the Saudi Arabian english political wing a few miles away to understand that what we r being stopped doing is utter rubbish.

The owners need to kick these useless pricks out or put up a defence for them.

The whole club is giving off an awful impression after such an exciting season.
They’ve somehow managed to turn an optimistic fan base into a paranoid impatient worried mess in less than 6 weeks.

I don’t usually post stuff like this, BUT go a goal down tomorrow and frustrations could start to boil over.

The way supporters are being treated. It could turn very quickly. Which really isn’t fair on this young side, who are being hung out to dry.

The club have created this mess it’s on them to correct it.and also if necessary deal with the fall out that’s going to come from it.

Good Evening all,

We are raising money for our next 2 displays.

The first display is on 15/10 v Wigan. It is 20 years next month since Niall Quinn left Sunderland as a player and we thought he deserved special recognition.

The second display is 5/11 v Cardiff. This is our final home game before Remembrance Day and we will be doing a tifo in memory of everyone that we have lost over the past 12 months.

For anyone who wishes to donate, it is possible to do so via 2 methods.

Firstly via our website -

Secondly via our gofundme. It won’t allow me to post the direct link but I’ll post a Twitter link containing it in the comments.

Thank you for your support.

Haway the lads.

On another not your badge is a fantastic representation of our club ,have you or the designer copyrighted it?I remember the original thread when creating it ...any plans of producing a badge?,mugs, scarfs t shirts before als nick your thunder?

Thanks for the support lads and lasses. Not an easy decision, we love doing it so withholding it wasn’t an easy decision but the club have had 2 weeks to reach out and they haven’t.

Wishing you all the best, it is truly sickening as to why the club seemingly don’t want to assist and work with you in something that enhances everyone’s match day experience. The saddest thing is that it comes as no surprise. The club off the field overall management of the club shop, marketing, the grounds sound system, catering and drink facilities on match day, the ticket office etc is a complete and utter mess.
