Yeah it was a poor IPL by his standards, but guess that the problem Buttler’s standard has been so high.

His IPL tournament the year before off the charts was never going to keep that standard up

Ultimately the only stat that matters re the 16.4 is does it make money? The suggestions at the moment are that it loses money and as such its days are numbered no matter how much leg spin the ECB and its supporters put on it.
