It was like that at four o'clockI can imagine Newcastle is full of love Island wannabes on a Saturday night. An absolute hell hole.

Aye it is going down hill like they do have a couple of alright beers on though which is their last saving grace atmWas in Fitzies last Friday night, not even a dozen in and it stank, as soon as you walked in the door. Couldn't believe it

I've been to countless away grounds and used to often stay over. I'd always stay in the town of whoever we were playing, rather than the closest big city. You often get better nights out and bump into more interesting characters that way.All depends where you gan, Newcastle is good on the drink like but let’s celebrate Sunderland pubs in this thread for any away fan reading
Burton for real ale types?Love to know what they regard as a great drinking town? Ipswich sure as hell won't get a drink in Norwich!!![]()

They can drink anywhere they want, just don’t act like absolute tits.
They can do some research, arrive a bit earlier? Even from the coach park they could go over to fan museum/deaf club etc?To be fair going to the SOL on an away coach it is a bit of trek to get the boozer, most away fans don't want to go too far from the ground. Colliery tavern is always packed and is tiny.
Think that will change when they open the bars over there later.
It's worse, it's full of Geordie Shore wannabeesI can imagine Newcastle is full of love Island wannabes on a Saturday night. An absolute hell hole.
