Durham Vs Derbyshire - Friday 11th August - Free Entry

Doubt there were many paying customers at the game on Tuesday, I’d guess most were members anyway so it’s a good move for me. They’ll make up for the small loss in ticket sales via the concessions.

To be honest I think all of the 50 over games should be free or at a minimal cost and make the money on the concessions, only ever host about 4 or 5 games and in previous years with key worker free entry or an allstars day, or have an association with a cricket club, 2 or 3 games you can usually get into for nowt anyway

Makes you wonder why members bother paying doesn’t it 😉

well a little bit, with work and the kids i want managing to get to the CC games so i havnt had a membership since 2019, was doing the T20's which i was getting for £20 for all the games, then by the time i got into a few one day games for nowt it wasnt cost effective to have it, for the CC games i could make id just pay for the day same for the 50 overs, still cheaper than a full membership

Add in games played at South North and others in recent seasons and it makes you question a membership even more.
PS Don’t forget the Durham Defender contribution too although this was voluntary.

You don’t need one. If you’ve got a phone capable of showing an email then you are okay. I’ve bought tickets multiple times this season and had no issues with showing them the tickets on my phone.

Cheers for this

I’ll try that
