Attendance Thread - Ipswich Town

The Saturday 3pm KO doesn't wash with me on this one. Usually I think of it that way. But with it being a bank holiday and kids are off school the next day, it shouldn't be that much of a hindrance. But it is on sky so many will choose to watch on tele. Still a cracking attendance and no one will come close to our gates this season.

I blame the club for releasing the tickets block by block again. Slows the process right down. The blocks in front of the ones that are on now in PC should be open and they should have the NWU blocks for sale as well.

Bank holiday?

Bank holiday?
Yes Bank Holiday Monday is the following day. Meaning most people will be off work. Meaning more people will be able to travel from further etc and also means people can have a good drink. Whereas if it was a usual Sunday at 5pm. Some people may not have been able to attend as it's a strange Kick Off time and people have work the next day...

My mistake. Someone told me it was all over the country. My bad. Well if that's the case then it's a brilliant attendance

I think Hettonlass knows the impact of a bank holiday but Monday 7th August is not a bank holiday south of the border.
Make sure you turn in for work that day.

I'm off. My colleague told me that it's a bank holiday this coming Monday. He has obviously looked at the calendar and not seen the Scotland bit at the end haha.
He got me hopes up for a second there until I checked the calendar
Honestly I saw the bank holiday bit and assumed it was after he told me. Not until we had the chat above and I was like. Hang on a second Hettonlass is a bot. She will know the craic with this. Either way I am off. But still a bit let down 🤣

Unless he works for a bank in Scotland! 🤣
Like I said above. I'm off. I took it off weeks ago as I'm at a christening on Sunday then off to the match after. Knowing full well there would be alcohol involved and don't like going to work ropey 🤣

Only in Scotland. English BH is the 28th.

Ignoring the bank holiday reference, which he has held his hands up to, he makes a very good point regarding the release of tickets by way of block to block.

No it's Winston off Still Game. He finally came off the sick and got himself a job with myself 🤣🤣

Just don't understand the thinking behind it. If there is any thinking behind it at all. If the club gave more options of where to sit in the ground then more tickets would sell. Its common sense (unlike my BH comment) 🤣 Even those tickets they release last minute that are in the south stand puzzles me. Why not sell them from the off? Why segregate home fans in the first place?
