5th test the oval

Do the players still all go for a drink tonight together , I know its got feisty in the series but looks like the 2 teams have a lot of respect for each other
Weren't Lyon and Root told to quieten down in a hotel bar after the previous series?

Just thinking what might have been if on Day 1 of the first test match England hadn't declared at 393/8 and Root seeing the ball like it was a coconut to have four overs at Australia at the end of the day.

Cummings looks like he cannot wait to get home. To concede a 2-0 advantage must almost feel like a loss

Great series to watch, fair result all in I guess

Agreed. They will learn I feel

I’m still a bit stunned with how well Zachary Crawley batted and caught
Yep, me too. Hopefully we see him fulfill his potential now. Absolutely destructive opener on his day.

I think that's one of the big takeaways to the series for me. We can put the openers debate to bed now. Crawley and Duckett are here to stay....

I’d guess and hope they would. End of the day, it’s a game they sacrifice a hell of a lot of the prime of their lives for.

Tours are a grind, all that time away from your loved ones, often in gruelling conditions, spending day after day with the opposition players.

They deserve a hell of a piss up if that’s what they’re into.

We know it, the Aussies know it, every cricket fan knows it! If the weather hadn't saved them this series was ours!
Na, they played the percentages and played professionally throughout. We played to entertain, but ultimately our bravado sold us short. We knew the forecasts and conditions but haven’t got the nouse to play out an innings.

The result was ultimately a fair reflection. Credit to both sides, but the Aussies played the sensible game.
