Attendance Thread - Ipswich Town

Sadly not going. The tractor boys fans I know are extremely confident going into this and easily making the play offs. No idea where they are getting this confidence from. Last time they said this was in league 1….. that worked out nicely for them

Last few games of last season people were wondering why the games were classed as sold out yet the crowds we 45k and just over 46k - screenshot of Ipswich sales shows they only selling up to row 18 meaning 3 empty rows at the back plus the full bottom tier of 5 rows meaning well over 1,200 empty seats in the away end for crowd control/safety measures.

P24 they only get 4 rows out of 21

P24 - 51 seats available out of 307. Think its a bit over the top the limitations - yes the bottom tier but no need for the back rows to be not available.

I think that was all part of the restrictive measures. Allowed stewards/police to stand at the back of the crowd to identify anybody seen to be throwing any items into the bottom tier.

Bookies have them finishing higher than us

Didn’t they win ten out of the last twelve last season? It’s not that unusual for promoted sides to start well. Sunday will be a difficult game.
