The Hundred 2023

At least that pesky Ashes series can be done and dusted by the end of July so we can all enjoy the main event in peace during August.

Yes, I’m surprised the ECB haven’t just asked the Aussie cheats just to forfeit the series because it’s so unimportant compared to their flagship 16.4 competition.

Looks like there was interest in Africa for their own Hundred competition but they've binned it off for a T10 tournament.

Lol

Doesn’t every tournament make losses early on? The Hundred was projected to as well, so it’s par for the course.

The fact that it’s tough to get into and isn’t gaining traction is something that’s hard to argue with mind.

2 weeks to go

I know im in the massive minority but im looking forward to it, The hundred being on TV peaked my wifes interest in cricket that me and my daughter had, to where the following season she wanted T20 membership with us at Durham, And last season we decided to have trip to headingley and stay over for it

going again this year

Nice of the ECB to finish the cricket and start this just in time for the football season. Saves any debate on whether I want to go to Hull or stop in to watch cricket

I’ll probably watch it when I get in from work because it’s on normal tele. I have no idea who the teams are, let alone which one is my nearest club, and have even less affiliation to them than the county I was born or the counties my parents were born, who all play at professional level.
