Bid rejected for Clarke

Bruun Larsen 'set for Burnley loan'

The BBC are reporting that Burnley are closing in on a season-long loan deal to sign winger Jacob Bruun Larsen from Bundesliga side
Hoffenheim.

Bruun Larsen has won six caps for Denmark and played 14 times last season, scoring once as Hoffenheim finished 12th in the German top flight.

The 24-year-old previously spent four seasons at Borussia Dortmund where he won the German Cup and German Super Cup.
think kompany had him on loan at Anderlecht

Burnley just had a £9 million bid rejected for Tella

They love a £9 million bid.
My mate is a Burnley ST holder and reckons Tella is undoubtedly their main target. He doesn't think they were ever serious about Clarke (hence the low bids, but would've obviously taken him at £8/9m) and that it's all games to try and lower the price of Tella. They've been quoted £15m and don't want to pay it.

That would be the third winger they've signed. Good news.

Tella and Clarke for around 30/35 million would have been a good bit of business for Burnley instead of spending 20m on a GK, who'll be picking the ball out of his net at least once every weekend.

17 goals from the wing is some going like from Tella, but I was surprised to see that with 5 assists he's only 1 contribution better off than Clarke was with 9G 12A
