LEGO builds for Adults

Anyone got the Home Alone house? It's been something I've been after for a while now but trying to justify the price as it isn't cheap. Looks like a great build though.

Aye. I've posted pics earlier in the thread. It's absolutely class.

I justified mine to our lass by saying it'll be an annual Christmas decoration. With the lightning kit even she knas it looks class.

Look out for deals around the £200 mark.

Has anyone built the D11 model? £430, I’m very tempted to get it, looks class. Don’t know where the hell I’d put it in the van like.

It looks class, really love the detail. Get a small bonus this payday so might treat myself.
It's full of that. Loads of little references to both films.
.
If you want to save it for Christmas, the build is split into 24 bags, so you can do it as an advent calendar.

The lights take ages like - and they're designed around fitting to a completed build. I've left some of the upstairs feature lights to attached this year.

We got the kids the £100+ AT-AT - I think last Christmas. Great fun for me to build but the ungrateful nincompoops had it destroyed by the end of Boxing Day and mixed in with the rest of the Lego.
Thats all that ever happened in our house with lego, made it once and then ended up in a massive tub mixed with all the rest. I just couldnt bring myself to pay anything near or over a hundred quid. Ive bought cheaper cars than the one in the original post. We all have our things we like though i suppose.

Bought the bairn a few sets when she was little and that’s all she ever did with them. She’s moved to university now, and I can build the big expensive sets in peace 😀 eyeing up the new release Concorde next
