4th test Manchester

Being devils advocate, on todays showing so far these conditions are demonstrably worse for wicket taking than yesterday when they took 4, as well as being quite safe to chase a small final total from Australia, suggesting they batted on way too long. I'd take another 2 wickets and a small lead than this scenario.

But no one is offering you another two wickets and a small lead so the point is moot.

It's Day Four in overcast conditions, all logic says that's better bowling conditions than Day Three and sunshine. The 10th wicket put on 66 from 8.1 overs, at current run rate it will take Aus 23 overs to eat up that 66 runs.

If Root bowls one of his bouncers will we have to go off?

I'm on the side of cricket I'd be thinking this was terrible from the umpires if this was Australia being denied.

I'd be laughing a tad but would still think it was bollocks

If they won't let us bowl seam under lights because of an unspecific and subjective judgement on the light, f***ing take them off. Fuck them. Aussies could add 100 here because the playing field is no longer level.

Umpires have totally screwed us here like . No option but to bowl spin and Australia can attack knowing we can't really make any bowling changes.

This is shite like. May as well go off and hope we get overs in with pacers at some time today or tomorrow
And then we get a chance and slip isn't expecting it (tough chance still)
