4th test Manchester

I’d be curious to know how much drier / more playable it will be at 14:45 compared to now. Appreciate the ground staff will do their work, but can’t imagine 16 degrees cloudy weather is ideal for drying the pitch / outfield.

The series for me keeps coming back to two key moments, failure to take two tail end wickets first test with 60 runs in hand, and the brainless batting at Lords. Those are what have meant a draw here is as good as a loss.
Rain due at 2.45 too
Might get 15-20 mins if that I reckon

2 hours of no rain and the schedule the start for exactly when the rain is due back.

I'm no massive cricket fan like and watch about 2 tests a year:lol:

But could these 5 day tests not need to have a fixed amount if overs bowled before it's concluded. Seems daft that day 4 and 5 could have total rain and then be sunny on day 6 but its finished.
