4th test Manchester

Where do you suggest? Namibia doesn't have much rain. It's England, it rains all year round, part of the game. We sat all day at Headingley for 2+ hours play in the evening in which time we bowled Aus out. Well worth the wait and great talking to other fans including an Aus tour in next block to us.
:D
Not everywhere has pretty much rain all do forecast for tomorrow.
Manchester is known for it.

Well looking at the latest Met Office map it does appear there'll be a 3 hour window around noon. The weather seems to be coming from the south west, so if it stops raining at the golf it might be a decent indication we could get some play.

If we had picked our best bowling attack and declared earlier we might have already won
criticised for not declaring early enough now. TBH we'd expect them to get 200+ in second innings, we could have declared then and got another 45 mins at them? we'd still not have got them extra 6 wickets

Also has it possibly f***ing off around 3 tomorrow as well, although that could all change. Perhaps even for the better, let's stay positive

Do they need to think about the merits in picking a venue when there is such a high likelihood of losing time to rain?
That would mean all test cricket should be played in the south and still no guarantee. London already has two tests sewn up. Maybe Chelmsford, Canterbury and Southampton? Weather is always a factor in English cricket.

The issue with this test was working out how many runs ahead would enable England to bowl out Australia with the likelihood of not having time to bat again. Declaring earlier might have seen more Australian wickets fall yesterday but the likelihood of England needing to bat again increase so Stokes decided to get the runs up front whilst on top. Hopefully there will be enough playing time left.
