4th test Manchester

On the overs it’s worth noting we were only one over more under quota yesterday than the day before. The Aussies may have had a reason or two to slow it down. England though, shooting themselves in the foot there.

I thought exactly that on the first evening, definitely.

I live a few miles from OT, my forecast says heavy rain for the next couple of hours (it's not raining now but did earlier) but clear from 2 onwards. Forecast for Old Trafford looks like a chance of rain most of the afternoon.......so there's rain around, it might hit the ground, it might not. Could be a stop start day, got to get a 200 lead asap then put them in I reckon.

I’m coming in on the ring road now and it’s piss wet through so pleasantly surprised that the ground’s in decent nick.

Hopefully don’t lose too many overs given that we can make time up back end of the day.

Praying for at least a decent amount of overs but in my head I can’t help but feel we used all of ours luck yesterday

Just had a look at Crawley's test record of the last 12 months after being vilified on here by a very small subset of posters (should that be plural?).

Averages 31.01 in test cricket

Last 12 months, 24 innings with an average of 48.4.

It's like comparing Jamie Vardy's first and second half career when he's working in a factory at 23 and winning PL title, Golden Boot and top 10 Balon d' Or at 28.

Be a shame if the weather robs England here ,first 3 test matches have been so close ,could have been 3-0 either way
Think England threw away the first test with the early declaration
I’d like to see them bat till lunch today and get the runs in the bank
