He's out with Stokes, so he must be getting told what the tactics are. I reckon it's hit a certain score, then go for it, but i'm shocked it hasn't already started with the due rain. Perhaps they have plans to build a roof on the ground before Saturday, and shock the Aussies.

Just whack a massive sheet of Tarpaulin over , and throw the players some headtorches

Agree with this - absolutely no reason they couldn’t be playing for longer with floodlights at the ground. Or just give us 9 overs of runs at our current run rate, doubled, or something. I’m sure if they were gonna give us 100 extra runs the 9 overs would have been bowled today somehow

Durham got through 96 overs yesterday by 6pm, how Test cricketers cannot get through 90 is beyond me!! Should be told by umpires and match officials (God knows there are so many of them) that they need to quicken up, a bit like when it's overcast or close to dark and you get told to use spin only!
