4th test Manchester

But the Bazball mentality is that you risk everything for a result. You don't leave it up to time. You have a chance to reclaim the Ashes with a win here. If you lose or draw it makes no difference, the Ashes is theirs.

By all accounts the entirety of the British Isles going to be underwater for most if the weekend.
But seriously what difference does it make if we score 200 more runs in the second or fourth innings of the game? We’ll still need to score another 200 runs to win at least regardless. Not as if declaring with parity gives us any advantage at all. If anything making them bat closer to the rain is a benefit
that 4 just made him top
Not yet mate I’m on Sky Go, hasn’t hit it yet 🤣

Gutted I couldn't get tickets for the Oval. I haven't missed an Oval Test for years but tickets this year were impossible to get.

If you score 200 runs, don't leave time for wickets, it's a draw, and they lose the Ashes.

England score much, much faster than they get wickets. With 10 wickets in hand, they can win with another absurd mind fuck chase, it is demonstrably more likely they do that than get Australia out, under no pressure to chase a score, in 1.5/2 innings . They have a chance. Or it's a draw, same result as above.

Even With a million runs on the board, but 9 wickets, they lose the Ashes.

I can imagine the Rat is sat chomping at the bit too come on here and said he told us so about Crawley

sky go doesn’t work on firestick otherwise I’d. It bother with me dodgy too.

More effort turning on me xbox to be further behind play.

Amazed the aussies are not bowling 2 foot outside offstump with a 8-1 offside field

Ala Stokes at Lords, dry the runs up first then the wicket will follow

It’ll be nice bowling conditions from tomorrow onwards. Any play Saturday is a bonus but it’ll be great to even get them out for 30 minute spell.

Sunday looking a bit more optimistic and I think we’ll get a bit of play, and all should be under very favourable conditions.

Anyways, we’ll not know about the weather until it happens.
