Good days cricketOnly 83 overs... About time test cricket was forced into bowling the full day allocation. needs to change given the hideous ticket prices.
Spot on. 83 overs, in an additional 30mins as well, is a disgraceOnly 83 overs... About time test cricket was forced into bowling the full day allocation. needs to change given the hideous ticket prices.
You're right, of course. We batted at Edgbaston. How about: Don't think Stokes has ever won the toss and batted first in Tests in England without declaring at tea time.
Just noticed the extra half an hour as well. If County Cricket can get 90 odd overs in then test cricket should. ICC need to keep dishing out fines or insist they stay on until full allocation is bowledSpot on. 83 overs, in an additional 30mins as well, is a disgrace
17 overs of spin as wellJust noticed the extra half an hour as well. If County Cricket can get 90 odd overs in then test cricket should. ICC need to keep dishing out fines or insist they stay on until full allocation is bowled
Bloke never thinks he’s out. The ball that got him was plumb yet the twat is standing at the side of the stumps gesturing with his arms that it was going wide.I have an unhealthy dislike of Smith
Ridiculous17 overs of spin as well
Its also hilarious the reaction of Aussies to any negative comments of him on Twitter or YouTube, how quick they are to defend the confirmed cheat.Bloke never thinks he’s out. I absolutely hate the ****.
I’m just glad that aside from one decent innings he’s had a bit of a shit series (so far). Same goes for the much vaunted Labuschagne. Another helmet with a high opinion of himself except he has half the talent of Smith.
The weather forecasts are shit though especially the BBC one. It could all change.Looking at the forecast, might as well call the game a draw now. A slight drizzle and the umpires will have them off.
Conventionally that’s the test match way of doing things. It won’t happen like that. Their bowlers are too good and the pitch doing a little bit. England will play to their strengths score runs quickly may score similar to them but hopefully by the end of tomorrrow. They will see it as needing to move the game on. England will be happy with the first 3 innings of this test match are similar scores as long as the runs are scored quickly enough. So bowl them out for 350, get 550, then leave two sessions on Friday to bowl them out for less than 200

Not sure that’s how this team are looking at it. What’s wrong with scoring the same as them in the first innings , or a few less even, but very quickly? Were gonna need to score 500 to have a chance to win the game now really.
Cos it's supposed to rain a lot and the Aussies don't have to win?Not sure that’s how this team are looking at it. What’s wrong with scoring the same as them in the first innings , or a few less even, but very quickly?
Aye but we have to bowl them out twice anyway and I think the approach will be to take risks, score quickly and lose wickets if need be and chase them down in the last innings. Not try and build more slowly to a massive first innings total. Just my opinion likeCos it's supposed to rain a lot and the Aussies don't have to win?
Which makes his point even more valid I would have thought? If England are to win this in 3 and a bit days it’s probably two similar scored first innings by before the end of tomorrow and then hope we can bowl them out.Cos it's supposed to rain a lot and the Aussies don't have to win?
