Forthcoming gigs.

Well, I appear to have pulled a bit of a fast one here.

I had wanted 4 tickets (there's only 2 of us confirmed) in case anyone else wanted to come but it said they'd gone. Put two tickets in and it let me have them. So paid. Then when I got through to See Tickets I put 4 tickets in, and I've gotten them.

Heading rapidly towards 68, but as you say.....

Feeling it atm though, after a week in hospital, which will hopefully end today or tomorrow - Pictish Trail and Kubix are looming.....
I've actually spent some time getting fitter and changed my diet so I can still have a ball at gigs and festivals. It has it's benefits elsewhere but I want to bale to jump about and dance all day for 3 days in a row. Love it. Missing Kubix (stag night thing) but cannot wait for Kendal the week after.

You still doing it at 68 is inspiring

Might try that next time:lol:

It's letting me back in to order more. 👀

Picked up some tickets for Barry Hyde at Pop Recs. Friday 1st Sept
Spotted that one last night and got a couple of tickets.

Was looking forward to McLusky at Pop Recs but we decided last minute to go away so those tickets will be going to my mate. Also wanted to get in for Therapy? but I've left it too late.

Don't do a lot of jumping about these days but I'll be dashing about between stages at Green Man again next month.

Is there a link kicking around for the McLusky tickets ? Can’t find one any where !

Off to see Airbourne in Manchester Saturday, Mrs Duck is accompanying as mate going away for the weekend and dates were changed.

On the age question I am picking up my State Pension starting next month and still love a live band, was in Manchester two weeks ago for Iron Maiden, brilliant.

Back to Manchester in August for Jon Pardi and then in November for Old Crow Medicine Show.

To be honest, it’s not often we get to gigs locally as it seems to be London, Manchester and Glasgow that hold sway.

If it’s too loud, you’re too old!

I saw Roger Daltry at City Hall last year via a SFF offer. Figured The Who gig would make its way there.

Headed down London at the mo so now purely academic, but not sure how comfortable I am watching Pete Townshend (his brother Simon played Roger's show last year instead so wasn't an issue).

There's a warning on SFF saying if there's a discrepancy in numbers between the stages, they'll cancel the lot.

Dunno if they'd go through with the threat, but I'd wondered similar before. Think it was last year, Tears for Fears was done via Ticketmaster and there seemed no link between what you ordered on SFF and what you could choose on TM. Only went for the two I'd ordered but it's an obvious gap in the system

I've had an email this morning to say me tickets have been reallocated to a more expensive price bracket closer to the stage due to production layout changes. 👀

Sounds like it's ganna be empty I didn't get them that cheap but did jump on the half price tickets. I think the original price and the weather has put people off.

Translation = the more expensive one's haven't sold and instead of mass empty pockets they are bringing everyone closer , general tickets were half price last week on one of the websites.

Would anyone be interested in a ticket to this? Only an hour away, absolutely topper line up... personal reasons getting in the way of going, am absolutely gutted and trying to claw back a bit of cash 🥺
