3rd test - Headingley

Meanwhile over in Bulawayo….de Leede gets his 50 for the Netherlands in what is surely a forlorn chase to qualify for India.
To qualify the Dutch need to score 278 in 44 overs to beat the Run Rate that Scotland have.

Currently 192-5 in 35.4

When they should have been 100/6 and us into the tail. Anything more than 200 is a victory for them after being put into bat.

It's already looking a belter to bat on.
I understand your point….but if a wicket falls then it changes what happens afterwards.
So if Smith (for instance) had been caught then the ‘timeline’ is altered.
What followed after that drop would not (and could not) have happened.

So if JB had kept wicket better in the last test we could have lost a lot more heavily....thank god he didn't.
