Leicester forum - Championship thread

You’re embarrassing yourself

No I'm not. Every point I made is above is correct and you said most of the country agree re mags.

Are we smaller than the mags? Yes
Are we bigger than Middlesbrough? Yes
Are we an upper end championship club? Yes.

They were in League One not long ago ffs

Have to say ivw been twice to see the lads there and it's always been weirdly hostile. But of a strange place. Maybe I just met the wrong people?
My best mate is a Leicester fan and talked me into going to Seville with him back 2017 when Leicester drew them in the Champions League. I have to say I met more hostile idiots than decent blokes. The fans are horrible
I know but merely having player assets and parachute payments puts you ahead of the rest. I don’t see them walking the League like Burnley mind
Massive wage bill though. I don’t see the owners giving the manager much money regardless of sales. They published losses over 90 million last year. Vardy is on a packet even if there is a 50% relegation wage reduction. He will still be on 70k a week plus, plus others

We do pull lots of idiots from all over our patch for most of the Europes.
Funnily enough it was back down to just the real lads and the official supporters clubs in Naples and Warsaw

It's time to go, you tedious, boring sad act

Chuck a couple of league Cups in since 1997 and I think we are comfortably 6th in the last 30 years behind the two Mancs, Chelsea,Arsenal and Liverpool
One LC would do. 2 is taking the piss.

The PL title and CL run(s)? are what dreams are made of.

Football is all about the experience, with the present achievement always the most emotional - a return back to the top tier will feel incredible.

To be honest, making the playoffs this season, the nature of the last few league performances, was a total joy

Arrogant lot considering they were a bang average championship team not too long ago

They did win the premiership and FACup in recent years, it’s is a bit of a come down, I would cut theta bit of slack. However they are in for a shock that f they have not kept most of the team together

Been linked with moves for some good players for this level Coady, Winks, Steffen and Piroe. They'll definitely be up there challenging.

Leicester are a middling club in a very middling city. They’ve done brilliantly with the PL title and cup win. I’ve lived there and there is a good number of real supporters around the 25k mark, who’ll support them through both good and bad times. You saw far more other clubs shirts there than city ones in Victoria Park prior to the PL Title. I suspect they’ll continue to get good crowds unless the wheels come off badly. A lot of their support are there because of their recent success. If things go badly a lot of their gobby supporters will thankfully drift away. They also have a very good Rugby Team which gets good support and also a County Cricket Club.

If we were linked we would say wont believe until a picture of a scarf over there head . Il wait to see who they lose and who they replace them with before I judge . Long way to go in the transfer window yet .
Very true, Tom Cairney also mentioned, who we seen ourselves in cup against Fulham, would be a top drawer signing.

Looks like they are going to try and spend their way out. Could end in tears with a manager who is unproven.
