T20 - Durham v Yorkshire


Don't forget we've got the class of 73 to help out .Lander and Greensword 4 overs apiece .Maybe Wilky with a couple.Akka to strengthen the batting.
 
Score prediction? We’re on a losing streak, Parnell doesn’t give a toss, trev bowls wides and Yorkshire are a traditionally strong team.

People not giving a shit about the T20 really rubs me the wrong way. I like this format and I enjoy the matches. For those of us who work it’s also easier to follow in light of shorter matches and better starting times. Don’t get why people say “oh stuff the T20 I’m off to watch proper cricket” like T20 isn’t one of the most popular and followed formats. Give over man

Maybe because I just don't like it as much as County Championship cricket... many are like that. I get that some really enjoy the T20 which is perfectly fine. I'm looking at it from the point of view, we have a big game on Sunday, we are top of the league and we have every chance of promotion. Will we qualify for the T20 1/4 finals? Unlikely. Can we achieve promotion in the county championship? the bookies think so.

The lads will get off the field tonight around 10pm, home later and travel to Leicester tomorrow most likely after a morning net session. It's very much a full on schedule at the moment including travel. I think from my point of view we need to prioritise, especially with bowling at the moment where we are down to the bare bones. Do I want to see Ben Raine going at full pelt tonight..? Not particularly hence I wouldn't play him. That view may well not be shared by many but hey ho I want to beat Leicester more.
