Forthcoming gigs.

Didn't work for me mate...worked out even worse for me lad...He has a season ticket AND paid £150 to watch the Monkeys in Hillsborough park....Fancy paying that to have someone sing to you in a Sheffield accent....makes me shudder lol

I love Pulp and Jarvis definitely sings in a Sheffield accent

Plus they sing about places you know like Stanhope Road

Liked Heaven 17 too, and hear Glenn Gregory is a good lad despite his football allegiance.

Obviously the new lot who became the Human League had to work as waitresses in cocktail bars to afford your prices.

They should have followed Joe Elliott to the Lane

jarvis was at Wembley.....apparently sat quite near two other blokes...dressed as jarvis lol

Soundwave at Seaton looks a decent little line up, gonna take my youngest with us see if I can get him into the live music - its cheap enough, hes almost 12 which is about when my daughter (NO) starting getting into music properly

Giving Benefits a miss Saturday. Hadn’t picked up a ticket & I’m out Friday, so should probably spend some time with the family. However, you’ve all intrigued me by Mouses or whatever they’re called.

Think I might be there. Just checked to see if my mate got me a ticket.
Confirmed, my next gig is Kurt Vile. Better listen up, only heard the stuff 6music play.

B-52's farewell tour on Saturday at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park. We're in town for our anniversary, anyway, they're a bit iconic, and neither of us has seen them, so we figured last chance, why not?
Seen them at Brixton Academy and the Barrowlands around 92/93, they were topper, quite fancied seeing them in the States(Vegas) this summer before I realised that I had nee leave left until next year now

Excellent ill see you there.

Not that we'll recognise each other but still.
SMBers just need to give a nod and a wink - easily spot each other
Are QOTSA really playing Stockton Globe??

PJ Harvey Glasgow Barrowlands September. And the Chameleons of course at Toon Riverside next week

Arctic monkeys at arsenals ground Saturday. Any one know any decent public houses round that way?
Jealous mate, saw them at Boro and was amazing.

Got tickets to gnr Hyde park, not gonna lie they were the band of my childhood seeing three of the og band on stage I never thought I'd get the chance. They may not be the band of my childhood anymore but it's guns n roses man. I've never done laaaandan apart from football so this is gonna be interesting. Looking for a cheapish hotel room for the night and trains are bloody expensive ain't they. Gonna be the cost of a shitty week away somewhere but worth it to tick them off the list.

Empire State Bastard last neet in Leeds. Great night.

Bitch Falcon. The singer/bass player was guesting in ESB and seemed like a canny musician. I'll be looking out for any tour...

Good luck! I bought tickets in the Amex presale then looked for a hotel. Everywhere affordable around the park was sold out, even though the general sale hadn't happened!

Found a few within 15 min walk that ain't too expensive with two of us splitting it for a night. The trains ain't cheap either but having done the bus thing three times I'm not doing that again.
