Bid rejected for Clarke


The only team he's been linked with that I can see him flourishing in is Brentford - just from watching how they play. I'm not sure they'd be keen on meeting our asking price though.

Far better that he stays here.

As I said last week, the club are starting to leak bits and pieces now in the hope that it won't have as big a reaction when he is sold as it won't have come out of the blue.

Its clear he'll be off and this drip-feeding will only increase over the coming days/weeks.

Aye I think he will be off and the fee will be reinvested elsewhere.

Don’t think that’s the case. The talk from Speakman was all about going for it next season. I think Clarke will be here.
