Plantar fasciitis

Yes had it for 6 months stayed the same for ages. Was barely able to stand on it at one point.
Wasnt until I started strengthening the leg muscles that it improved. Try things like calf raises, squats and lunges should help in the long run.

Yeah it’s agony isn’t it

Annoying when everyone says it’s gout

Loads of ibuprofen
The tennis ball thing
Lots of stretching including hamstrings for me
Get back to as much movement as you can manage

Cleared on its own

Golf ball / Tennis Ball
Low dye taping of the foot lots of videos on YouTube etc
Compression socks loads on Amazon
All help

There is a thread on this in the Health forum from September 2022. You may find some of those posts useful.
Mine improved with the wearing of Birkenstock (or similar) sandals, preformed shoe insole inserts, and over time.
Also, don’t start to walk barefooted for any length of time on hard surfaces. Your feet need to get used to it gradually

i changed my shoes for a bit as well used to where gazelles switched to Nike Cortez helped a lot.

Golf Ball rolled from toes to heel under pressure, i got a small, spiky massage ball that does the same thing and you're not forever chasing it around the room.
😁

Had it a couple of times over the years, once so bad that I was limping along and could barely walk. Seem to remember it only lasting a few days but I try to always wear shoes now that give "arch support" and the likes.
I did the ball under foot stuff, it definitely improved the pain so good luck @safcforever, hope it improves soon xx 😘

Had it on and off for the past few years. Can be really bad for a few days/weeks then suddenly clears up. I still have no idea what brings it on.

A foot roller like this can help: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Massage-Forearms-Exercise-Massager-Fasciitis/dp/B078X5N2K1/

Yes. Got it training for the 2019 GNR. 2 cortisone injections in 2021 and I still get it if I attempt to run or do a long walk. Absolutely hideous. No stretching or tennis balls rolling or medication will touch it.

Good luck getting it sorted, hopefully its just mild.
