Is this true mate? I’m sure I saw him commentating a few days back on one of amads, Ekwah, or michuts Sunderland posts on Instagram. Can’t remember which one but thought at the time wonder if we’ve had a look at him

That's right mate, he complemented Ekwah's style and told Michut to get a haircut.

Sometimes” relationships “ mean a lot to people -if what you read is true his family have a lot of respect for some of the personnel at our club and believe we will nurture him well -we are becoming well respected for developing talented players.
Maybe he wants to play games in a progressive set up ?

He’s played for PSG first team, albeit in a friendly, at 16 I think so presumably fairly handy. Entering the last year of his contract I think.
 
I think it’s a smart move for the lad, as he is clearly backing himself to do well. On name alone he could probably sign for a top team and be in and around their youth team.

But if he performs well with ourselves with the comfort blanket/ safe pairs of hands in Dodds and Speakman close by, he will inevitably get that big move to the likes of Liverpool as part of the first team squad as opposed to another name on the loan report.

Obviously the risk for Jobe is that he bombs here, is poor, and never gets that big move or lucrative contract. Himself and his family are putting a lot of faith in his ability and that of our coaching set up. 🤞🏻

That’s the kind of attitude the club have been recruiting the last couple of transfer windows - players who’d rather drop down and push for our first team rather than float along untested playing 23s games at spurs, West Ham, Liverpool etc. It’s class and intriguing to see how it turns out.
 
Interesting that Michut said we offered him the chance to stay. Bellingham was always one of our top targets anyway, so that tells me we will still want another CM as well as bellingham
