I can’t believe nobody is bothering to try and get him other than us. He looks like he has a decent amount of potential already and to get him at 17 for 300k seems very low.

Think it's us mainly due to the links with the family and main reason for him potentially joining us for his development.

Really though for 300k? If he’s a quarter as good as his brother then he is money for old rope. His family seem to be a really switched on and clever people so he has a very good starting point. Obviously that’s no guarantee he will be good but it’s very low risk.

Were Never gonna know the fee. I’d suspect that’s a bit more like it. Birmingham will want a good chunk of future sales which is fair enough too.

Whatever you want to call it, it's only relevant for registering the player in order to play matches. If the transfer is agreed between clubs and the employment contract with the player, then it doesn't prevent the club announcing the signing.
Looks an exciting one anyway, the sooner it is confirmed, the better.

Other teams have been trying to get him also the 300k is what it would of cost us if we where to get him out of contract because of his age, that number was thrown around last summer prior to signing his new deal.
We’ve been after him since then, nearly got him last summer when we went up but felt his development at that time was with Birmingham.
When you factor in everything such as the mess Birmingham have been off the field the past year, while seeing the opportunities we’ve gave to youth, how well we’ve performed this year & the fact Mike Dodds is here who the family give a lot of credit too for Jude’s development then you can see why for his development this is the best place for him.
Huge decision on his part mind, but defiantly excited by this one and not just because of the Bellingham name nut from clips I’ve seen and read he looks like he’s got a very high ceiling in his own career.
