Jobe Bellingham - Signed

Think we need to be careful comparing him to Michut, they might be completely different players.

I really can’t be arsed with it all of next season, Jobe has a below average game “knew we should or signed michut instead”
I agree mate they seem two different types of midfielders, I can still see us going for both

I posted this on another thread of how we seem more geared up to 433 and to me signing this lad confirms it

.........................Ekwah

......,..........Neil................ Bellingham

........Roberts........Stewart....... Clarke

Or

..,.......................evans

...................Ba..............Embo

........Lihadji........???????......Jewi

1 deeper midfielder, 2 more attack minded and the 3 front lads to pin them back
Plus his wages, plus any up front. And the cash still goes out so the amortisation is only part of the picture.
Yes, bit for ffp purposes it's not huge

Yeah fair enough

It is a coup, I agree with some posts that in a weird way its almost good publicity for club and might attract more for his name

All I would say is we do need some experienced lads, maybe just mid 20s, like Roberts n co about as playing Saturday/Wed can be brutal

I think the clubs idea is just to sign talented players basically, sounds obvious

Think a few of our young lads will have grown over the course of this testing season, especially with the injuries and having to find a way of playing football without a striker for half of it. It'll have put hairs on their chests this season 😆

We don't have an infinite amount of money and £3m is likely to be an extremely significant amount of any club's transfer budget.

I'm not saying I share the concerns and as I mentioned we don't know the structure of the deal (and Birmingham will try to make it sound better by saying it's £3m up front etc, I get that) but comments of that nature are fair IMO.

If he comes in and does the business then no one will care but all we can do is go on the information we have at the moment.

Just don’t understand how there can be concern when we have no idea of the budgets.
Aye they’re mint but they aren’t going to Dortmund at 17, all I was saying like

Not many are. You have to be a special talent for that sort of thing, which Jude Bellingham is.

I actually think good youngsters needed a pathway to playing good football regularly in a good league. Obviously better players will go to dortmund but if we can be an option that’s attractive it’s great.
It does however mean we see them for a couple of years and they are off - I presume that’s part of the offer

It’s really really weird behaviour
It is mate, I've even had the whoppers replying to some of my photos I've put on a Facebook photography group, absolutely not football related whatsoever but they can't help it. Absolutely devastated there's a flood of photos of Sunderland seaside and somehow it's linked to safc. Usually from Dave nufc Smith from Durham
