He is. All those advocating him leaving will be the same people hounding out a new guy if we aren't top 6 after a dozen games at the start of next seasonSpeaking as an outsider I'm astonished there's even talk of Mogga being replaced.
You might tell me different but seems like he's done a brilliant job with limited resources.
I haven't seen one person advocating him going. Fancy linking some? Or are you telling porkies? He is. All those advocating him leaving will be the same people hounding out a new guy if we aren't top 6 after a dozen games at the start of next season
He might have thought Anderson is not ready but he would have been more ready than Roberts to play at the back.Well there was. Why play Clarke and Roberts in a back 5? He could have played 4 at the back and got them in the final third and not 100 yards from goal.
We weren't winning headers either way
Neither of whom would come here while we are in the Championship.Brendon Rodgers. Graham Potter. are the only two I would say could get you promoted to the premier league & keep us their.
The lad at red bull does have a good record, like I’ve said just need to trust the club in knowing what they’re doingTo be fair we have never ever gone down the foreign coach route. We had Di Canio but his experience was in the UK. I don't want to get shot of Mowbray, more because I think too much unforced turnover is not good and makes you potentially like Watford. However, at some point it would be interesting to try a go ahead, progressive foreign coach witha good track record. The Italian lad who has been coaching in Turkey unfortunately didn't have a really good record.
Yeah that’s the issue. I don’t think people outside really know how the club runs now.Speaking as an outsider I'm astonished there's even talk of Mogga being replaced.

No. One thing the club have been pretty consistent with is not commenting on every rumour going.Anyone expecting a club statement soon?
I mean to say he's goneNo. One thing the club have been pretty consistent with is not commenting on every rumour going.
In that case it wouldn't surprise me. Think it would be a change too far though.I mean to say he's gone
Some of the results the lad has got in Europe are impressive then. The austrian league is ranked lower than the Scottish Premier League by Uefa - Just saying
I just thought id mention it for a bit of informationSome of the results the lad has got in Europe are impressive then.
Mind, he looks like a Bond villain so I'm not sure I'd want him based on that alone.
The manager stays as he is getting the best out of his players, Roberts being one example - That is literally a managers raison d'etre.
Why do teams sack managers after a transfer window closes, so he can get more out of the same group of players.

The point I'm making is that they went for a manager who was relatively unknown to replace a manager who was doing a good job in the lower divisions and ultimately hit his ceiling once they were in the PL. The manager they got in has ended up being one of the best managers in world football and he took Southampton to heights that were beyond Adkins.Given all the managerial sackings/appointments and the best example you can come up with is over 10 years ago, I'd say that is a bit of a reach.
How are Southampton doing under their model there? The point I'm making is that they went for a manager who was relatively unknown to replace a manager who was doing a good job in the lower divisions and ultimately hit his ceiling once they were in the PL. The manager they got in has ended up being one of the best managers in world football and he took Southampton to heights that were beyond Adkins.
The trajectory of Southampton and Sunderland in comparison is very similar that both clubs progressed through the league to a point they are now pushing to be in the PL and then beyond.
