Tony Mowbray

Really not sure about all this, rumours won't go away, little bits coming out in the written press that read like he hasn't been given any assurances over next year.

IF he does go the new bloke has to hit the ground running
The 3. Mentioned I don't now nowt about them. only that one was at Barnsley & got the to the playoffs.would be a big risk to take I would just keep TM here next season.

I had heard he was going even before the links with that Italian fella from someone who should know but I really hope they stick with him.

He’s honest, decent and hard working bloke who completely gets the club and fans. He’s done a great job in difficult circumstances and deserves another crack, if he wants it of course.

By appointing a coach who nobody knows fuck all about ,has hardly set the world on fire and whose biggest claim to fame is he was goalkeeping coach under the present Brighton manager .
What could possibly go wrong ?

Can you name a few realistic alternatives that you think will be better ?

They appear to have to someone in mind. I trust them.

Another poster has said the same

He will go. Speakman calls the shots and the writing is on the wall.

There has been talk that he hasn’t integrated /started the foreign lads as much as the board would have liked. Benette, Ba, Lihadji,

Michut only started to get games once Evans was injured otherwise it would have been Evans and Neil to the end. Of course you can teach foreign lads English…or you can get a multi-lingual coach.

Mowbrays preferred starting 11 is made mostly of British and Irish players.

Patto, Hume, Batth, Ballard, Cirkin, Neil, Evans, Clarke, Roberts, Stewart. It would be only Amad who would be the odd one out.

I would love Mowbray to stay. He has earned it but there is no smoke without fire.

Hes done an excellent job but think his wing back choices in these playoffs have been lifting.

Think he will stay or go? @Oli Wagkz
I agree with that. I am ok with Clarke at wing back but it was unfair to ask Roberts to play there.

I may not be his biggest fan but I thought he gave everything last night. He made a couple of crucial headed clearances in our box and was chasing back in the last minute when their player had an open goal. What he couldn’t do, however, was stop crosses coming in and he had far less opportunities to get forward.

He should have had a fullback behind him from the start. Huggins, Alese or Anderson should have made up a back 4.

More than happy to back any manager we’ve got come beginning of the season - the club have my full support.

Would be harsh on Mowbray but I won’t be advising the board be sacked if we gone with an alternative.

I reckon hes away like

He said he spoke to speakman other week and hadnt really made anything clear

Then his comments last night it sounds like hes away to me

Would be very disappointed like but trust the club to get it right

Wonder what future the likes of Ba, Bennette and Lihadji have with the club ? Ekwah has proven what regular game time can do. Will these lads get the same or just drift away ?
