Others, and I mean the vast majority, would argue that Mowbray has literally had to adapt and play, for example , a back three of 09, Gooch, and Hume. Imagine saying that at the start of the season and thinking we'd be in the position we are in. He's performed a minor miracle with the injuries we've had.Nope, that’s a comment on a brand of football installed from the highest level which is working fine at the championship level but would get minced by better teams in the PL. Mowbray gets told what to play and coaches the players to fit a style and a formation, hence “head coach” and not “manager”.
There's a reason I'm continuing to mention Mowbray to you. It's because you've consistently criticised unfairly throughout the season.
I can see why you're desperately trying to hide that now, but maybe you should consider a different account, or maybe just be a bit humble and admit you've been wrong.
Yes, we have a style of play which is agreed upon with people in higher positions than the head coach. The match to match tactics are obviously the head coaches responsibility. I don't think he'd have chosen to adapt so heavily to such an attacking formation if it wasn't for injuries.
So again, I'm struggling to understand the 'naive' comment which you made, regardless of who you were intending to criticise. The injuries have dictated the team and formation.
