pretty sure this is done by ticketmaster not sunderland
Ticket didnt go on Sale till 12 Noon thou? I visited the site around 11:16 (I can check if you really want me to) and was 950ish in the queue. No if you tried to log on yesterday it said . No access this opens at 12 pm
However there are people on here who said they logged on at 11am and were 30th in the queue. That is wrong .
If it said opened at 12 that is when it should have opened not an hour earlier
Same as any event, queue up before the tickets go on sale and you’ll get the first choice of the best seats. The queue thing was not communicated well.
I logged on at 11.55 expecting not to get on as it was published as available at 12pm
Instead said I was 7500 in queue. I could have logged on much earlier.
It was not communicated you could log on before 12.
Poor
I understand that but it should have started at 12pm when it said not 40 mins earliercommon sense surely? Whilst they said tickets will go on sale from 12 Noon, SAFC did not state anyway, you could not visit the ticket page til this time?
Queue started about 11:20 IRRC
Its not just SAFC that do that, most online ticket sale have a queue-it system (or similar) to avoid traffic crashing the website
Looks like only a handful of single ticketsDoes anyone know how many tickets are available?
This happened to me with Sheff Wed away last year. Got a single seat about 20mins after it looked like they were all gone. Just kept refreshing.People can hold them in their basket for 30 minutes, so probably just timing out regularly.
most likely tbf, I just meant in this instanceEarly login has been possible for as long as I can remember.
It’s like the ticket office saying tickets will go on sale at 9am and people don’t turn up until bang on 9am. Yeah like that happensthat's standard practice with tickets for any event, if there's too many people trying they queue so the website doesn't crash with the traffic, especially with handling payments etc.
there will have 100% been people get in at 12pm, just because you didn't doesn't mean it was the same for everyone
Season card will be activated, no emailed ticketsI purchased Tuesday, have had confirmation but no tickets (checked junk).
Email confirmation says that if you have any queries regarding order to email ticket office.
Website comms regarding Luton Town home game states that "phone lines and email inboxes will be closed during sales period" and go to Stadium of Light to speak to someone in person.
This leaves your average full-time worker Saturday to get to the ticket office to resolve issues like this.
I'm all for digitalisation and modernisation but to have no means of modern, digital customer support in the lead up to 45k+ "customers" descending on your establishment is criminal.

I was checking regularly all morning and joined the queue about 11.15 with 350 ahead of me.

Not calling anyone a liar but I really don’t see how so many people have had problems. It literally takes less than a minute to do onlineHow about season ticket holders not been able to get tickets? How about the shit communications? How about turning off the emails and telephones? How about hundreds going to the ticketless office to sort out issues? How about turning people away from the ticket office? Apart from that it's been![]()
ST card is activated. Despite the (default) email, all ST cards will be used where fans are bought their OWN seat. If you are a ST holder and chose to sit elsewhere you will get a DIGITIAL TICKET!I purchased Tuesday, have had confirmation but no tickets (checked junk).
