Tickets (Playoffs H & A)

Your being a bit kind on the club there mind. We get great crowds regardless of division. For a good few year ticket office n clubshop have been worse staffed than non league outfits.
Heads need to roll.
Its a disgrace.
If it was anything bar a football club you’d never use their shitty inept services again.

Don’t get me wrong mate, I think off the field we are a shambles. From the kit deal, to the away fans debacle, the club have really struggled. The communication side has been awful all season as well.

As I posted though, I think the club thought they’d have at least a season to grow the off the field operation in line with their sustainability plan. It hasn’t worked and if we do get promoted, then they have a huge couple of months ahead of them.

I’ll clarify the situation as best as I can.

1) if you activate your own season card seat before 10am today you will not receive a ticket, your season card will be activated.

2) if you are buy a ticket for a different seat to your season card seat you will receive a digital ticket.

3) whether we agree or disagree with the decision, no email or phone calls are being responded to by the ticket office.

4) you can not purchase additional tickets for family / friends until 12 noon today, when each supporter with a valid membership number can purchase up to 4 additional tickets.

I hope I’ve clarified and explained everything clearly above. These are questions that I’ve had and that I’ve resolved myself for numerous other fans. The biggest issue appears to have been the apparent unlinking of accounts (possibly a system error). For example I’ve had to get all of my accounts re-linked to be able to complete all of the activations that are required for my group. (Over 100 have been done so I have the experience of the situation).
so how better would it have been if points 1 & 2 were on the confirmation email, as you have put them. as for the email bit (3), in the confirmation email it gives an email address to respond to

Surely as a business though they can’t just assume things and should have had things in place for any eventuality. It was never beyond the realms of possibilities that we could reach the play offs. They are absolutely useless.

I've already sorted mine, but had another look and I get stuck at the captua screen. The normal tick box isn't there using our WiFi (talk talk). Works fine on 5G.

Not an issue as I'm sorted but haway.

Edit: tick box showing again now.

If you haven’t had a confirmation email, check the money has left your account.
I am sure I purchased ours Tuesday but checked last night and no email and no money taken.
I had to buy them again last night. Will be keeping an eye out to make sure I haven’t paid twice.
Must of been an issue on Tuesday. I have used the system so many times before without issue so it definitely wasn’t me.
My payments from Tuesday are showing in the Order History on SAFC ticket site, and there's a button to resend the confirmation email but it still isn't coming through. On my online banking app, the payments are "pending". 🤷‍♂️

The biggest issue appears to have been the apparent unlinking of accounts (possibly a system error).

For me, the biggest issue is the plainly wrong instruction/advice (to 20-odd thousand people) on the confirmation email that we would get an e-ticket after buying our ST seat. From what you are saying (and the fact that I haven't received said e-ticket), this is incorrect.

It seems as if SAFC/Ticketmaster couldn't be bothered to amend the standard email, and as far as I can see, haven't moved to correct this with any sort of announcement, so no doubt supporters are emailing the ticket office (as instructed in the email) to say they haven't received the e-ticket with, it seems, no response from the ticket office.

That, along with your point above, indicates to me a combination of gross incompetence, don't give a shit attitude and complete disregard for the supporter base.
That saddens me more than annoys me.

Do you have Gmail?
Yes.

Just checked, as I realised that my mother and sister's accounts were actually registered to my mother's email address (on AOL). Confirmation emails were received as soon as we ordered their tickets, and were resent every time I pressed send.

Still no sign of mine, though.

Absolutely mental how the Gmail issue persists. It'll just be some config setting with the clubs email provider one would have thought.

Edit: this was an issue last year for Wembley tickets. A whole year. Maybe longer!

I'm sure they said what the problem was at one of the fans meetings, but I can't remember. FWIW. I have a Gmail address and never confirmation sent for away tickets and there's never a problem. I bought additional tickets for the Watford match and they were sent through instantly. There confirmation on everyone's account history including the words 'added to season card'.
