Brilliant for using abroad. Just the same as at home

Yes mate. It’s just like a regular bank but online. I pay money into my hsbc account and then just transfer across if I need it. But I’m sure you can set it up to pay your salary into. The only downside is that there’s a limit to how much actual cash you can deposit into it in a month, which screws me a bit as I work for cash, hence the hsbc then transfer route.

I don’t need a main bank account, just something to use oversees that doesn’t cost a fortune to use in exchange rates.

I have Monzo for Business and Starling, Chase and Revolut for personal. Starling and Chase are the easiest to use. Chase were doing 1% cashback but you may have missed out on that one

Anywhere between €3 - €6 charge if you withdraw cash from a cashpoint (but that would be applicable to any card). And you'll get a sterling transaction charge plus a crap exchange rate I should think.

Be wary if withdrawing cash, since leaving the EU the local banks can charge for withdrawals.
Was only a couple of banks that didn't charge when I was in Spain, most were €5+. Imagine Greece will be similar.

Use Starling anyway on my phone for contactless and its fine.

Can you get a Chase CC their only a Debit Card Option.
