The Safety of Fans in the North Stand

From BBC Sport.

Charlie was "stuck in a big ball of blue smoke" when the missile got trapped underneath him.

Inside the ground, correct. The bill is the responsibility of the club. Outside, it's not AFAIK
this is correct, i seem to remember years ago that the Sunderland management saw the bill for the mags policing and it was a lot lower than ours so they decided to cut it right down, so you rarely see any police inside the ground these days. outside however the police are responsible for maintaining law and order, good luck finding any

If there’s something thrown from the away fans, stop the game, eject ALL away fans before the game is restarted.

Warn all visiting fans that this will happen before the tickets go on sale.

The fans will sharp police this themselves.

God forbid someone is serious hurt or even killed but will the powers that be will likely serve time now for corporate negligence/ manslaughter if criminal charges were filed as they’ve clearly failed to protect the public on a known health and safety issue? At the end of the day the club is responsible for the actions of people on its premises via public liability aren’t they ? Very dangerous territory the club is letting itself get into.

Where is this petition, I can’t believe it’s so few people who have signed it , it must not be visible.
Can anyone throw it up? If the figures grow the story can be followed up. If the BBC are prepared to follow the story the club will be embarrassed into action
