The Safety of Fans in the North Stand

If the the petition said 'immediate action is needed now with all possibilities for a safe solution to be considered' what would your thought on signing it then be?
Happy to sign that.id prefer to give them the 3 options so they can't come up with a half arsed effort like they did last time
Any clubs fans that have thrown a flare get a zero allocation next season? Surely that would put them off being arseholes
We would loose a couple of grand tickets sales so wint happen. This lot are. Just as penny pinching as the last lot. The unwillingness to pay for a net shows finances trump fan safety.

Fair enough mate..all about opinions

New family enclosure? Where'd family zone being moved too? Never seen anything mentioned about that
They're considering moving the family zone into the Premier Concourse (for the season after next) and I believe there was a trial a few games ago when tickets bought through schools were up there. The idea is that they can make a proper family area and can enforce an age limit on parties up there. I'm not sure it'll work because a lot of kids will want to be closer to the pitch, but I can see why they're considering it

That won't necessarily free up many seats in the SEC though. I'm not sure how many families are in there now, and how many of those will want to move up to the Premier concourse. From discussions the club have had previously, the plan to move the family area is completely separate from the away fan discussion, as far as the club are concerned the away fan issue is sorted, much though yesterday has proved to many that it's anything but.

I’m suprised the club haven’t put out a statement yet saying they are going to re-assess it again.
More stewards, more searches, we've got better cctv now.... Blah blah.
A statement should have been issued immediately after the match.
To highlight the seriousness of what happened the game should be stopped until the police/stewards check the cctv and get the offender out of the ground.

Davison’s usual hilarious response of we’ll look into it won’t be enough this time, how many more incidents are we going to have? Signed.

Surely all the money they’ll be spending on extra stewards and police presence in the away end (which clearly doesn’t work) will equate to far more money over time than a net would cost? Seems like false economics.

The one at Bramall Lane looks simple enough, it’s a few metal poles sticking out the concourse wall with a bit of material (the net) fixed to them. Can’t be that much money?

They should public the cctv of the incident. Maybe then the clampetts that threw the coins and the flare could be identified. Surely not all Birmingham fans are scruffy tramps out to injure innocent people.

This has only got 600 signatures when there was over 30k there yesterday who surely all agree that the club needs to take action. Not everyone wants to see the away fans moved for various reasons. I'm sure if that if the petition demands the club takes immediate action by either moving the fans, putting up a screen or installing a net more people would sign.

Signed it to make the point but I’m not actually sure moving the away fans is the only/best solution.

What is clear though is that the current situation cannot be allowed to continue.

It is only a matter of time before someone is seriously hurt.

I mean they could self police it and identify the culprit, but doesn't sound like that has happened, or the authorities have arrested anyone for what happened.

Looking at the reply to the Birmingham statement on twitter (I know it's not representative of all fans) no one gives a fuck. It was all "cry more" and "we'll do what we want" type replies.

Society really is in the f***ing bin at the minute

Just been watching this video from a Birmingham fan @ 14:20 is Amads goal and I noticed the steward is fully focused on the match and not even watching their fans!!
This is the so call extra measures that we put in place, what a joke.
