The Safety of Fans in the North Stand

Yet the post you quoted literally says move them to the North or south. Ground was designed for them to be in the south. My bairn was 3 rows away from potentially being hit so get fucked.

Yes, we have been over this on here 100’s of times, you are desperate to lovey the away fans where it is no longer feasible.
Let’s put them lower north to stop you twisting like fuck every week.
You are well aware of the dangers, move your ticket ….
The club quite clearly are not going to do anything

Should we have been docked tickets at the Mags after the derbies that stuff went over? Not a leading question btw but it’s a difficult issue.

To me if the clubs adhered to the guidance of away fans pitchside then that’s the answer, not punishing away supports, 99.9% of whom are innocent.
If if stops any repetition, then, sadly, yes. If that's the only way of getting the hard of thinking to behave.

It was obvious today that there was gonna be some tension outside the North Stand after the game. The flare, them singing "We'll see you outside", the number of home fans turning round & shouting up abuse. Came out the exit to see 20/30 Brum oiks starting to mouth off leading to scuffles with PC Plod all on the other side of the road! Why they weren't stationed at the away exits Christ only knows 🤷‍♂️

The cops were nowhere to be seen, women and kids getting caught up in it, then All of a sudden they turn up after a few normal looking fans turned on them. Literally policing the situation ourselves

Stuff went over in two derbies in a row at theirs (only times I’ve seen it there admittedly, and no real harm done) so we’d have had about 800 there for the Poyet game under those rules. About 2,000 people punished for the actions of a few dicks.

I think it’s time for the clubs to meet the guidance.

Something has to change.

The measures they’ve put in place aren’t having the required impact as evidenced by today.

It’s by sheer luck that some one hasn’t been seriously injured.
