CC :: Durham v Worcestershire

There is no hate, he has simply not shown any sort of form since returning and his captaincy is not good enough to offset that. Any criticism is warranted, you just take it badly because he's a MLF.

Who he supports is an irrelevance, it may be important to others, but I’m not that norrowminded.

I’ve already conceded up the thread that ‘hate’ was probably the wrong word, but I’ve made my support and the reasons why very clear for Borthwick. I still stand by him.

well tomorrow and friday look a write off, so doubt i'll be bothering. saturday and sunday it is.

The weather forecast on the Met Office app has changed from light rain most of tomorrow to cloudy and 7-9c. Could get a full day in. Fingers crossed 😁

I’d expect on that basis, whoever wins the toss will have a bowl.

It was only about 5c on day one of the game v the University. Still got sunburnt like 😁

Aye me too.
It was that cold in the Don Robson once it was in the shade that even Jamie and his dad moved seats.:D

Having said that I'd gladly settle for similar conditions tomorrow.
I've experienced that in previous years.

I remember one year it was about 3 degrees, think it was Somerset at home. My wife was sat in the members lounge and Buttler almost hit her with a 6

Some players were wearing beanie hats.

They played Northants in June 2019 and it was that cold you could see your breath
We were sitting in the Co Durham Lower and Nathan Buck was fielding at Third Man. He looked at us, shook his head and said, "You lot must be f*****g mental!"

In Consett atm. Heavy rain, app says real feel temp is -3c 🥶. Lovely.

Middlesex at home April 2016. Coldest I’ve ever been at a cricket game, stayed the whole day too cause I’m hard as owt/a complete lunatic*.

I’ll be making a last minute dash in the morning if it looks like play will get away on time, two flasks of bovril for me feet.

Bliddy hell, yes. I’d erased that from my memory (along with Nic Maddinson and his illegal bat). Or maybe the cold did that…

I worked in Consett for 11 years...what you've described is a summer's day up there.:D

Clean slate under Campbell, not going to judge his captaincy playing under Franklin.

Lees, Jones, Borthwick, Bedders, Robinson, Bushnell, Clark, Raine,Coughlin/Glover?, Potts, Kuhnemann
Come on,, be reasonable. You expect ECB to apply common sense and logic in their decision making.
In fairness it was the first time he's looked good in a Durham shirt for years so obviously need to nip that in the bud.

Makes you wonder why we bother paying wages, hes played 1 competitive game for us in the i dont know how many months and now needs resting.

What the actual
