Which team do you predict to win this year?

First up on Friday at 3pm

Gujarat Titans v Chennai Super Kings
 

I’ve literally no idea who plays for which team.

Will still watch in the background when it’s on like, always hope the English lads do well.

Me too. The only time I took any kind of interest in it was during lockdown when it was the only cricket on tv. I just went with whoever Ben Stokes was playing for (Rajastan Royals) as a team to follow.

They finished last. Bloody typical of teams I follow.

That's who I'll probably keep an eye on this year then. I just hope Stokes doesn't do himself any damage playing in the IPL but then he knows his body far better than I do.

This. He’s not going to bowl so at £1.6m he looks overpriced to me. World Cup Final apart (I know) it’s his worst format and Root looks a bargain in comparison at £125k.

I'd argue Stokes is the biggest waste of money in the entire competition. He's overpriced anyway (as you say it's his worst format) and now he's not even bowling. I don't think Root get's into the team really.

Class bowling sees the end of Stokes. CSK in a bit of trouble now.

If the titans are going to do anything this tournament they'll be relying on Khan to just go off on one. Luckily he's doing just that at the moment :lol:

Still think it's ridiculous stokes having a cortisone injection in his knee to be able to get to the IPL, just as a batsman as well. Made more sense to recover properly for the ashes in what is his best format
Granted if he is only going to face 6 balls or so a game I guess it shouldn't take too much out of him
