LEGO builds for Adults


how difficult is it to dismantle some of the adult builds? I fancy getting the mclaren f1 car but I am not paying £150+ for it. Been offered one quite cheap with box and instructions but its already built so I would need to dismantle it

I imagine it'll be fairly simple, but time consuming - especially if you're trying to put it back into the relevant numbered bags.

Dead easy. Put it in a bag, drop it out of a window. Job done.

:lol: Same. Since I've put the lights on it'd be nigh on impossible.

Thankfully you can break it down into the sections, so I've wrapped each one and put it back into the box ready for next year. I basically want it to be a Christmas display each year.

I've got a bag of lights detail lights to go on the upstairs this Christmas - I'd almost lost the will with it last year. :lol:

Do you know that bloke from Houghton who was on The Chase last night and had built the Lego HQ out of Lego? Is this big bairn stuff common out there?

They were! They're connected to the motor. Only little lights but they put out a fair bit of light. The interior of the cabin is excellent.

Yep. Mine too. Mrs K for Christmas. She's always wanted a Classic Defender. This may be the only way I achieve it!
