He didn't though, that's my issue and his goal record is really poor.

If you look at his play then it's been half decent, but he doesn't look a natural finisher or forward and over the last few games whilst he's gone close he should have had at least two, maybe three.

He's only here till the end of the season, he needs to do it to click pretty soon. I think we're probably going to have to adjust like against QPR to give him more support.
 

Fully justified people being frustrated conceeding so late but to write the entire season off over it is pathetic.

I think if he doesn't show something soon he'll be getting dropped and we'll be back to Clarke and/or Diallo up front as we had when Simms and Stewart were both injured

You lot cannot buy a goal yet you were still willing to let him go.
 
It's not really relevant whose fault this is. The only thing to consider is whether he is the best player to play in that position. We need to give him a fair crack, but we can't just carry him for the rest of the season. At the moment imo we'd be better off playing Pritchard and with either him or Amad as the furthest forward, I wouldn't play Clarke up there because he's wasted, but Alese and O'Nien would probably be more effective too.

Personally, I'd give him one more start in the hope he can get one, but after that I'd bench him if he's still no good.

The issue we've got is he hasn't got much of a chance (less than 3 months left now) and is being asked to play completely out of position. It was always going to be a struggle for him once we never brought an actual striker in
 
Everyone was happy if we were going to finish 5th bottom and stay up. Now we are 5th at the top end of the table and we don't win the season is ruined 😂

Just a casual reminder we finished 5th in League 1 (🤮) and are now safely secured into the Championship this season playing some of the best football for years whilst dealing with major injuries.

How many more times do people need to learn not to write players off after 2 or 3 appearances?

It's not as of there aren't players in the first team who were also written off before they got fit and into the rhythm of our play.

Thats it though mate i would bet anything we have to play him as part of loan deal.So we are stuck
