I am buzzing with our own kids progress at all levels.Great that we are gonna use translators for foreign kids but dont forget the kids that talk proppa like we deeThat’s some result that. Missing a few who were with the 21s yesterday, a couple of mainstays with I assume injures , and then all the other injures that are probably the main reason the whole bench were under 16s.
Who do ya think for MOM mate or did a few of them stand out
I thought both wingers did well especially Moore. Cotcher was on the other wing which isn't his natural position.I am buzzing with our own kids progress at all levels.Great that we are gonna use translators for foreign kids but dont forget the kids that talk proppa like we dee

Thats great thanks, its years since we had so many promising kids .I thought both wingers did well especially Moore. Cotcher was on the other wing which isn't his natural position.
As mentioned it was a good result on the basis of it being a bit of a scratch side. Only one of the first choice back 4 playing. Very good result.
U21's ninth.Just looked at the tables and both the U18 and U21 teams are second in the Premier League. It looks like the production line is functioning well. Not really had it working this well since the days of Alan Brown.

Was just thinking that,Alan Brown really didnt get praise for bringing Kerr, Hughes,Tueart etc onJust looked at the tables and both the U18 and U21 teams are second in the Premier League. Yes agree and good point. Also McNab, Horswill and Harvey. Although McColl introduced Todd and Suggett, their early development was under BrownWas just thinking that,Alan Brown really didnt get praise for bringing Kerr, Hughes,Tueart etc on
Yes he was really good with the younger ones, but seemed to not connect with the senior pros very well.Yes agree and good point. Also McNab, Horswill and Harvey. Although McColl introduced Todd and Suggett, their early development was under Brown
Yeah there a physically big side, few of the bigger lads not present either.Good luck to them all. My, there's some big lads there!
I haven't heard anything yet. I'd guess quite a few will be kept on with a pro or optional 3rd year. Said before quite a few 23s are out of contract at the end of the season. Really good age group the 2nd years.@Kernel just seen you post in a different thread and reminded me to ask. Any idea if/when any of these 2nd years are due to find out if they are being offered pros. Haven’t heard anything and assume quite a few will get them
Yeah ones a 1st year scholar and the other is a 16s
Jayden is a good player. Offered a scholarship too.The 16s lad Harrison’s brother who is in the 21s now (might be still injured).

Harrison hopefully gets another year to get through his injury and gets some luck along the way to show his potential.
Couldn't agree more with your post.Yes hopefully mate, I did hear from a family member that Jayden was getting a scholarship and heading over Sunderland next season aswell.
Would make sense to give Harrison another year considering the potential and high regard the lad was held in prior to his injuries, certainly a better bet than whoever has been released at Burnley or Southampton etc that we bring in.
