tbh the album tracks sound so much better performed live... I bought the tickets a while back and had no idea what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised.

Took the missus to see Calling Planet Earth at Fire Station last night, was canny good tbh if u like 80s new romantic stuff. Looking forward to the Panthers at the Gunners later, really good rock n roll band.

Roxy girls at Pop Recs last night was a good gig .
The first support band were canny radged, second one was a bit mellow but the lass playing the flute was good

Peat and Diesel, a folk rock band from Stornoway and fronted by Calum ‘Boydie’ Macleod on guitar and vocals, with Uilleam Macleod on drums and Innes Scott on the box, have been something of a surprise success – not least to the band members themselves. Drummer Uilleam said: “We certainly didn’t expect it to take off the way it has, as we only started it for a wee bit of craic.
