Sunderland music thread


Popped in the Live Lounge unplanned last night and Celtic Man were on, thoroughly enjoyed it once the sound technician decided to do their job and sort the mic levels out. The female lead singer had a cracking voice and was very energetic.
 
These are playing the Peacock 25/02/23 still tickets left.

I may well have a dodge down.

Peat and Diesel, a folk rock band from Stornoway and fronted by Calum ‘Boydie’ Macleod on guitar and vocals, with Uilleam Macleod on drums and Innes Scott on the box, have been something of a surprise success – not least to the band members themselves. Drummer Uilleam said: “We certainly didn’t expect it to take off the way it has, as we only started it for a wee bit of craic.

Still showing as sold out. I went into the SeeTickets waiting list. Can’t go now like, going for a night in York instead.

No worries mate. Was a canny gig.

We're at the Tavern in concorde now. Rough as beans but they're the best gigs. Been a cracker so far!
