Attendance Thread - Blackburn Rovers

Just bought two tickets in the Premier concourse for my sister and brother in law. For some reason these tickets can only be bought by a member/SC holder, so they couldn't do it themselves. No idea why that would be the case, and it can't be helping ticket sales surely?

Also - £35 quid each? To watch a Championship game from up in the Gods?!

Makes our season tickets better value no doubt, but that seems steep to me.

Its that steep you could use the escalator.... sorry, xmas cracker joke week

Given their catchment area compared to ours, our crowds are far better but they are too thick to realise that.
Agree -they have the biggest catchment area in the country by a long shot
Where were they when they got that 7000?

I say loads of positive things and I would be keen to see this meltdown you speak about

I say things as I see them. I couldn't care less if people agree or not. If everyone agrees amd had the same opinions it's a pointless forum anyway.

Accusing Sunderland fans of being mags because they have a difference of opinion is probably the worst type of patter on here and is generally spouted by cowards who wouldn't dare take that sort of patter into any pub or club in Sunderland or the SoL itself.

Same as the ones who do nowt but spout negative and often made up criticism about SAFC and its support.

How’s about this one:
Newcastle United v Norwich City, 26 April 1978
Score2-2
CompetitionLeague Division One
VenueSt James' Park
Attendance7,986
But but but there was a reason!
I wasn’t even born then and anyway it was pre 1992 when football started !

Could we be talking a full house here?
Very unlikely HK
Currently:
Sold is 42,618
Available for sale is 385
Not yet released (see post #347) is 3,641
So capacity would be c46,650

Or c4,000 seats left to sell.
To sell that amount would mean daily sales approaching 1K, which is a lot more than has been shifting.
Saying that I think we are likely to sell decent numbers tomorrow and Friday before things drop off on Xmas Eve and Xmas Day.

Love these attendance threads, and contributions like this are really appreciated....have a like.

One of a handful of matches over the years I really wish I was home for. Would have been a good year to visit for Xmas.

Hope everyone there, especially the returning exiles, crank up the volume and roar us to victory.

I’ll be up at 4:30am to watch, and my FiL (never watched “soccer” in his life until he got hooked watching our run in last season) is planning on it as well!
