Attendance Thread - Blackburn Rovers

Just bought two tickets in the Premier concourse for my sister and brother in law. For some reason these tickets can only be bought by a member/SC holder, so they couldn't do it themselves. No idea why that would be the case, and it can't be helping ticket sales surely?

Also - £35 quid each? To watch a Championship game from up in the Gods?!

Makes our season tickets better value no doubt, but that seems steep to me.
It's the most popular game of the season (so far).
When the tickets first went on sale 3 weeks ago there were about 5,000 tickets available in the main bowl, 4000 of these were £29 for adults.

So there's 7 Premier League games on Boxing day and all will be played by Wednesday.
Looks like only Arsenal will beat us. So second highest attendance on Boxing day and probably 3rd overall across the gameweek with Man U at home too on Tuesday

Unreal support, it really is and tbf that's week in, week out. We're absolutely class man.

If they release any blocks in North West Upper these will be Adult £29.00, Over 65 £26.00, Under 16 £12.00, Under 22 £22.00.

...and the annual 40,000+ defeat incoming!

How’s about this one:
Newcastle United v Norwich City, 26 April 1978
Score2-2
CompetitionLeague Division One
VenueSt James' Park

Obviously every club including my own has its ups and downs both on and off the field regarding form attendances and finances etc.

Sunderland and Newcastle United both have great fans to be fair, but Sunderland’s fans in particular have definitely proven their loyalty and passion over long periods of mostly barren times yet they always turn up home and away in extremely impressive numbers. 👋

You’re correct mate, we all have our lean times when some lose faith, especially clubs like ours who win fuck all!
It’s just those clowns up the road go on as though it doesn’t happen to them, that they’re different. It’s only a season or two ago that Ashley dished out 10,000 free season tickets to bolster their attendances as they were leaving in their droves.
We know the score though!

You have nothing positive to say about SAFC and if I remember rightly, you had an almighty meltdown on the NUFC thread where you were defending the Saudis.

I say loads of positive things and I would be keen to see this meltdown you speak about

I say things as I see them. I couldn't care less if people agree or not. If everyone agrees amd had the same opinions it's a pointless forum anyway.

Accusing Sunderland fans of being mags because they have a difference of opinion is probably the worst type of patter on here and is generally spouted by cowards who wouldn't dare take that sort of patter into any pub or club in Sunderland or the SoL itself.
