On the footballing front, yes, but on the facilities front have there been any recruitments and investments.
yes. correct me if I am wrong, but recently we have gone back to having a functioning ticket office and club store. that takes staff. stadium tours have recommenced. there is certainly room for improvement, but I think its a little remiss and unfair to suggest nothing has been done since KLD arrived

There’s no Monty’s Magic Diner anymore? Never noticed it’s gone. ShameZ
We had signage explaining who players were for youngsters and banners from the ceiling. If you remember it looked class when ground first opened and in theory is timeless as players already historic.

Corporate brings no money from average supporter. You'd know if you'd ever been. I am of course speaking about the concourses not Corporate areas. Es removed a lot of the uniqueness in those areas and it diminished supporter experience for those of us that use them.
of course corproate brings in no money from the average supporter..its not designed to do that, its designed to bring in money from the non average supporter whp will spend more and the club gets the money. And when the club gets money-it can if course spend it on things the average supporter likes...like football players.

for tens of millions they could just build another stadium.
the match day experiece has been enhanced a bit, i think most of the issues around ti are things that cost little and those which could cost a lot are not nescessarily within the control of the club. EXpanding the concourse would require planning consent, for example?
Its not very ambitious to spend money on things that wont generate a return on investment.

less corporate?#
why on eath would they want to make it less corporate..corporate brings in money?
A new stadium in today's money is hundreds of million, isn't it?

Return on investment is the conundrum. Would fans be willing to pay an extra £100+ a year on their season tickets for wider concourses and better match day experience?

As others have mentioned, some of it is just minor cosmetic things.

Like painting or cleaning the roof. Any 25 year old white roof is going to be dirty. Get some one up there and sort it.

Sort out weeding and power washing. Employ a maintenance team or Stadium manager to highlight areas that need repair or a lick of paint.

In the stadium itself, the sound system is obvious, a load of floodlights are out. The concourse and the catering stands are dated and there isn’t enough room. Not sure what can be done in there without whole sale change.

I totally understand it’s a cost thing but customer experience should be as important as any other area.
im shicked if there isnt already a stadium manager employed..goven that its alos used as a concert venue

well a new stadoum could be hundreds of millions if one wanted it to be..
but it would still be a better arrangement than spending tens of millions on an old stadium.

That's what the corporate areas are for. I'm talking about concourse areas, you know where actual suppoters go, and hopefully spend whilst in there, club benefit if supporters are happy

Nothing at the Sol will be improved as the moneys going to be going on other things. It needs some desperate tlc and Unless we get promoted and get new investment itll stay like that foreseeable imo.
why would a new investor be more likely to spend money on the stadium than the current ones? the current ones have the cash-just not the competence is my view.

People reporting hand driers not working suggests to me that the maintenance situation has not changed. Now, it might do in time, but basics like that would be sorted if they had a funded maintenance team.

but you said they were corporate now and you wanted it less so?
if by that you mean the look and feel, thats fari enough..but do the concourse attendees [ay more for being in an area thats done up in a coprorate way?

It doesn’t make this new era seem all that exciting to me
Agree, with 2 /3 of the last ownership still here, i can’t understand what makes people think its gonna be any different, yeah KLD,s here but hes not going to plough money into the stadium when the other 2 wont.

for exaample..when the stadium is used for concerts..who puts out the stage etc..are those in house safc employees or external people?
