Uruguay Argentina would be my guess for 2030, with the final, held in Montevideo, fifa will no doubt bring up the 100 years since the first world cup, in the same place etc, and market it, in such a way, its come full circle.

If I had to choose in Canada, Vancouver would get the nod for me. Not to hot in summer either.

I’m amazed Boston has been selected. It’s a brilliant city but the Gillette stadium isn’t great and it’s a bugger to get to (that is coming from a Pats fan as well). Mind, San Fran is probably worse 😂

I wasn’t there but from my view it looks like they’ve put on a trouble free, fantastic spectacle of the game.
Each to their own but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it.

It will be interesting to see what the Mexican govt do about the cartels ahead of the tournament. For the last 15 years or so, their influence has been growing in the capital.

As it’s a perfect opportunity to launder money, they might behave and actually help the Govt to stop petty crime etc

I hadn’t realised that Hank, I went 30 years ago, it was an amazing city, even got to have a kick about on the pitch at the Azteca

The stadium for SF is plenty nice and plenty easy to get to…from San José.
