Embarrassing fans

Just accept it

Staying until the end makes full all difference

Me sat freezing my tits off at the back of the North Stand has zero impact what happens on the pitch
Why would I accept something that is untrue and based upon your experience of staying at one match?

There's a summary of a report here

and the full thing if you're interested

Having fans in the home end helps teams achieve more goals and points. It's not an opinion, it's a fact. Because you stayed yesterday and we didn't score doesn't impact that in the slightest

This happens most weeks now though and the atmosphere has been poor for a while. Won't always be able to blame leaving early on the cold

Fans can leave when they want, it's always happened at the SoL. It'll happen if it's -2 degrees, and it'll happen if it's 25 degrees. It happens if we are winning, losing, or drawing.

Stop talking shite

Me and others staying made no difference at all

The scene at the final whistle was sad, only needed a goal and was just about empty. Can’t think where this would happen anywhere else.
Whilst I don't generally support or entertain the idea of people leaving early, we were getting absolutely fuck all from that game last night. The only shot on goal we had all night was the penna.

I could no longer feel me toes and me finger ends, and said to me brother "ha'way, we're getting fuck all from this", and slowly made our way down stairs. The ref blew as we got to the bottom.

Fuckin shite and you could see it coming a mile off.

It can make a difference though, I don't think anyone's suggesting that if the fans had stayed we would have definitely got a late goal. It happens a lot and people on here need to accept people might criticise the fans from time to time. They get plenty of praise as well

I stayed to the end in hope of a miracle. Realistically, we weren’t going to score if we kept playing like that until next Christmas.

I don’t blame anyone leaving early in that weather with that performance going on. Awful.

To be fair, I assume most who didn’t go were probably young children and families as it was a night match during the week.

You got to also take into account that others might have medical issues where it wouldn’t have been a good idea to come out in the cold.

Same here. I stayed til the end just because I always do but had real hope we were even going to fashion a chance, nevermind score

Bloody freezing so I fecked off 10 mins early, it was obvious that the game was gone and it was still 1-1 when I left. Wish I fecked off at half time tbh instead of freezing me tits off watching that shocking second half.
