I’m not sure who you’d have take it. If Kane’s the player for the first because of his ability and mentality, who would you have on the second?

There's not a chance he lets anyone else take that second one mate, nor should he.

Every third goal he scores for England is a penalty, not unreasonable to expect him to score.

When he was waiting to take it I did think that it was probably going through his mind that it would make him record scorer.
At least someone else didn't miss.
Saved them a bit of grief.

Eh did you read my post? Of course he takes the second, silly debate really, the only thing is he missed the target, that’s his only fault.

You don’t take it off him. Please read properly Peter. I stated it’s difficult if Kane wanted it. Personally, under the circumstances, I would have changed the penalty taker. Last 10 minutes, mentality is more important than track record.
