We’ll sing what we want

Whether any of us think it's racist is irrelevant. The lad himself doesn't feel comfortable with it so surely we just stop doing it. What kind of imbecile would continue singing it in light of him asking for it to stop?
Bollocks man.
He doesnt care - the games before the world cup break he was loving it.
Clearly prompted by the club and the powers that be to read a statement

The type that thinks free speech isn't a thing because you can't say racist/homophobic/sexist things anymore, they'll just double down on it sadly.

Reading twitter (and some on here too tbf) the young dickheads in the south stand have decided its the club who have instigated this and the lad still likes it.

He's asked us not to sing those words so why is it so hard to just change them?

Do we have to get to the stage where he is openly asking the support in person not to say those words?

Sad to say but a very small element of our support are complete dickheads.

Let’s face it the majority in the south stand are questionable individuals
Young Bresslaw is right at the back and he's OK. When he eventually gets up I'm going to ask him if he sings it.
We sit in the South East corner and I honestly couldn't make out the words yesterday.

Imagine thinking he knew what what they were singing when dancing in the middle of the pitch
He likes having his name chanted. He doesn’t like the racist nature of the song. Listen to what he said and take it on board.

Unbelievable we have supporters who think the lad was knowingly dancing away to a song about his nob

He might not find it offensive but maybe his family and friends do? Maybe it was explained to him and he found it offensive.

People are acting like spoilt brats because they can't sing a song ffs. There's a small section of football fans that feel they are the victims and the establishment is against them. Just look at the Euro 2020 final! It's pathetic.
